I had a thought of creating a work that captures motion within stillness, conveying my experiences after graduation, moving from one place to another in the acceleration of events. The work seeks to balance navigation and a sense of groundedness. I am interested in how our physical presence connect us to the earth, feeling our weight anchors our presence within space.
Shying away from the rigid regulation of quantifiable clock time, I reimagines time as a continuous transition—one that embraces memories, durée and being. It seeks to reconsider our power and dominance among all beings, while also acknowledging our naivety in realms beyond our comprehension. I imagine engaging in a dialogue that embraces non-hierarchical perception— a space where things are neither judged nor strictly defined, finding meaning in the process of embracing.
